Not ‘concrete’ but Fabrizio Romano said it’s nailed on and he gets most things right.

Always tricky with counterfactuals.

We could have got him, and handled him right, then found ourselves a very good player. Cirkin could have still been struggling to get out of the youth ranks at Spurs.

Yeah I often wonder how much the circumstances affect players. Could have been a fair knock for the lad. Its the same as when clubs release promising players. There's definitely a psychological toll that it takes on players - and one that isn't easy to dig your way out of.
