Jobe Bellingham - Signed

Transfee fees don't hit profit all at once. £3m on a 5 year deal is £600k/season, less if that £3m includes addons.
Boring question here, but if there was an add on of say 500k for x amount of appearances. And that add on was triggered into the 4th year of the 5 year deal. Does that add 100k per year for FFP calculations, or is the full 500k realised only in the year it’s paid?

No reason to ask at all, just curious

Judging by the forum and some stuff on Twitter, quite pleased they got 3m for him. By all accounts if his name was Smith, they wouldn’t get anywhere near that amount. Time will tell like.
Just bitter Birmingham fans that another Bellingham has left them still a teenager.

The full £500k in the yeat the fee is paid.

A midfield 3 of Ekwah Neil and Bellingham could be tasty like.
Jobe is more of a CAM isn't he? What a player to add to the ranks though, it really sets the standard of quality we can sign and will only cause to attract other players of his calibre, like that Chilean lad were looking at. Excited to see who we can bring in, but I would, just out of spite, try to sign either Luton or Coventry's best player, depending on which one loses in the final. Imagine a MF of Ekwah, Hamer & Bellingham?

Always assumed he was a box to box ball carrier type of midfielder but dunno

BBC Gossip in the papers page for tomorrow

Sunderland are in advanced talks to sign Birmingham midfielder Jobe Bellingham, 17, the younger brother of Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude.

Hamer is a very good player but if they don’t get promoted I can’t see him staying in this division…same as Gyokeres.

Search Bellingham on there previous tweets and loads of them were begging him to stay 3 weeks ago.

Totally agree, they are both a class above and it would an audacious attempt to try to sign either, and way too expensive for us.

Before one of the England World Cup games there was a massive tv segment about Jude and how greatful he was to the coaching of Dodds when he was coming through at Birmingham, sure it will be about somewhere online.

He’s clearly an excellent coach, wouldn’t be surprised if Proctor is aswell. Mowbrays always talking in interviews how good the coaches are here
results speak for the coaching a lot
