Jobe Bellingham - Signed

Getting unveiled tomorrow according to Fishpaste. He also says he been told Bellingham has been told he's going to start games and in the no10 role. In front 9f a pairing of Neil and Ekwah. Sorry like but no way is he Diallo's replacement.

We’ll get Amad back or there’ll be a relative marquee signing to fill that void he leaves in the team.

There’s also no guarantee that either ekwah or Neil keep their spots in the first team.

Ekwah had an awesome end to the season but Neil has stagnated.

New season, new start tho.

A 17 year old novice was guaranteed a specific number of games and we landed him because the club failed to deliver? Can you support your claims?
Its reported in several articles on the transfer. From decent reporters for Birmingham city.

Not arsed if you believe it or not but its been reported several times.

Can't disagree with Ekwah and Neil. 👍

Still need a defensive minded CM for me. Evans may only play half the season if that, and although it was a good learning experience for Dan Neil in that role and he did a fine job, I think we're restricting his ability in playing him in that position.

Pearson from bournmouth would be canny experience and proven at this level

Neil has stagnated?

The lads came has came on massively in the last couple of seasons man. His defensive side of the game improved immensely when Evans got injured and he stepped up.

He’s improved every year he’s been in the team, no reason he won’t continue to do so.

It’s crazy that people can’t see the improvement in Neil’s game last season, so mature for his age in the position he was playing.

Can't say I know anything about the lad so I'll look him up. I posted about Man City's young DCM they bought last season.
Someone who's good technically and can read the game would be a big benefit to our midfield.

He did brilliant when forced into playing the defensive role. I think he's got better qualities than to keep him in that position mind, although the experience he's had playing there will obviously make him a better footballer for it.

Yep. He’s still developing but quite clearly has the potential to play at a higher level than this. His own game suffered a bit last season with him having to take on more defensive responsibilities but his overall game will certainly be better off when he’s given more freedom.

Depends how much you think we need experience doesn't it I'm not saying you don't need it but it can be over played at times, look at Ballard and Hume for example absolute quality if you sign players of that quality you don't really feel you are missing out with experience, the only experience in our first choice team as it stands would be batth and possibly Pritchard and if you count Stewart

Completely agree. His passing higher up the pitch was excellent in league one. It’s something we lacked a bit last season with him further back (hampered further by the lack of striker).

I agree mate, it's about getting the best at what we can at our level, if that's an older head or a younger one, I'm not that fussed as the club seem to be on the ball with what they are doing.

As a free with plenty of Prem League experience and leadership qualities, I would have been having a look at Luka Milivojević mind, but I'm sure the club have already looked into him already and ruled him out.

His contract at Birmingham had a release clause in if he didn't play a certain amount of games. Which is how we signed him.

He won't be coming to he 4th choice.
He will feature obviously but he will do well to be above pritchard. Also ba, im expecting him to step up this season
