Jobe Bellingham - post SAFC compendium

With his attributes I think he’s much more suited to playing the deeper role, and maybe more suited to being in a 2 in the middle than a 3. He’s a very good player, but doesn’t influence games enough with goals or assists to be playing higher. Played well today and overall a good season. I’d like him to stay.

Why not? You are a starter in the biggest league in the world. Sell for around 40m or keep and possibly have a generational talent to sell?

He could go to Dortmund or similar and get a taste of champions league football early or play a big part in our return.

He wasn’t great today. But he’s proved he’s going on to be a top player at the very top of the game. One more season Jobe.
Give over. Best player on the pitch today.

MOTM for me today

I’d be shocked if he’s not here next season

I thought he was pretty poor..as bad as Neil until he went off then upped it when Le fee
dropped in

I don’t think his family want him or Jude anywhere to the PL

Really hope he stays but if he does go I wish him all the best. He did his bit and helped get us back in the premier league. Thought he was class today.

mature performance from a 19 year old. Thought held the midfield together. If he can play like this at 19, he can be a superstar in a few years. Hope we can keep him, he seems like a great person
He took the game to Sheff Utd mate 2nd half. He showed he has the big game mentality.

We currently have Neil, Le Fee and Bellingham competing for two starting places in the middle - one of whom holds the keys

One is the new guy at £23M

One may sit on the bench - but only for a couple of games

One can be sold for a king's ransom.

Speakman and Le Bris probably have 3 replacements lined up

He said something like “I’ve been part of that “ as if it was over, in the past.
I hope he stays.
Wey he may well be off for all i know but that statement means nowt to me. I think it makes career sense to have at least a year starting in the premier, its not gonna do harm.

Reckon a certain Clarke will be feeling a bit regret too.

Great young player, bags of potential, but we have (hopefully) moved away from the model of being overly reliant on holding on to any player at all costs. I rate him very highly and think he's the best box-to-box midfielder we've had since... well its hard to think of a better one. Certainly over the last decade.

If we sell, I would trust the recruiting model. If he stays, I assume someone else may go.

if we get a £40m bid he is gone

Bellingham has played his part in SAFC being in the top flight, but he hasn't shown that he's ready for a top club. None of our players have. I'd be surprised if he wasn't here next season. He's shown he has promise, but he has a bit to do before he's ready for Germany's second club.

Fully expected the lad to be sold for big money this summer after the start he had to the season regardless of which division we ended up in.

Just wonder if the family might consider a season in the Premier league as being worth the experience.

I'm sure som e big clubs will be looking at trying to get him right now put of fear that a good Premier league season could see his value add another 10m easily (Delap as an example).
