Jobe Bellingham - post SAFC compendium

It's incredible to think he's only 19. He's so understated in everything he does. He looks after the ball so well and keeps possession. He's going to be some player in his 20s.

Thought he had a good game today. Still find him a bit slow and ponderous on the ball at times. Personally think he’s away as others have said I just don’t see his parents wanting him in a struggling side regardless of how many guaranteed minutes he gets.

Absolute beast 2nd half. He grabbed that game by the scruff of its neck. Only top players can do that when it matters
mature performance from a 19 year old. Thought held the midfield together. If he can play like this at 19, he can be a superstar in a few years. Hope we can keep him, he seems like a great person

Respectfully, better coaches at Dortmund, very good standard league and possible CL experience

He’d be a fool to not go there if he gets the chance
Yeah Jobe isn't one of those who may have left simply due to Premier League/Top Flight teams calling, he may have offers from some of the best teams in the world. Love the lad but would have no ill feeling at all towards him if he left.

Apart from his brother being there. I don't get the Dortmund links. They've moved away from developing young players

Im sure but that could be 1-3 years away. I really dont think he will be looking to leave now, no point to it. unless we decide we want to cash in
My thoughts are that it’s a big change from people actually wanting to sign players on their up, rather than people on their way down looking for the next contract.

Respectfully, and I can’t have it, I think you’re talking shit. He will get CL experience like his brother. Bookmark this, it will be somewhere bigger, he’s quality.

I don’t think he’s quite what a club like Dortmund will be hoping for ; bit carried away by what’s gone before…

That said, if the lad has the opportunity and wants to take it then fair play. You have to imagine the smart advice from his Dad will be that struggling in a relegation battle isn’t going to do him good, better to develop now elsewhere.

I’d be delighted for him to stay, but there’s no hard feelings if he moves IMO and we take a big fee & sell on clause. Presumably we will be paying up on a sell on clause out as well.

I’d love him to stay and I think he’d love to stay as he’s clearly enjoying his football and the city but his career will be planned out and I don’t think a season fighting relegation is part of that. He’s not at champions league level yet but a team like Palace he’s perfect for, if he shines there then he gets the pick of any team in the world.

He won’t play in the prem. he’ll go to Germany away from the shitty national media over here and carry on progressing. Lads a beast and won’t be out of place playing in European cash league

Why not? You are a starter in the biggest league in the world. Sell for around 40m or keep and possibly have a generational talent to sell?

He could go to Dortmund or similar and get a taste of champions league football early or play a big part in our return.

He wasn’t great today. But he’s proved he’s going on to be a top player at the very top of the game. One more season Jobe.
I thought he grafted well, as he wasn’t being helped much by his fellow midfielders, until Regis made the changes.

The way he was grabbing his badge on his shirt tells me he might be staying

Dortmund can't afford him now.
Sorry but we are a premier league team. And they would have to break their transfer record to get Jobe, who is now an 18 year old Premier League star.
