Jobe Bellingham - post SAFC compendium

He said something like “I’ve been part of that “ as if it was over, in the past.
I hope he stays.

They’ve been linked with a £25m move for weeks now. He is supposedly their main target.
Would be shocked tbh. They've moved onto signing established players but the lad deserves a huge move. Absolutely love him and hope we get one more season with him

Dont think we can be written off tbh. Im excited. He could be part of a suprise package and get his pick of teams, if he wants to. Maybe even if he just stays until January and see how things are looking. Id be suprised if hes off in the summer
I’m hopeful the youthfulness in our team can be huge and they improve but it’s a huge risk if they turn down a move and he then has a bad season and we struggle that’s all.

Respectfully, better coaches at Dortmund, very good standard league and possible CL experience

He’d be a fool to not go there if he gets the chance

Hes still young tho. Give it a shot this year with us, any offers will still be there next year for someone who will only be 19/20
I agree. Best midfielder on the pitch

Yeah i thought he was really good. Some brilliant touches and a couple of brilliant balls
Maybe Italy as if he goes to Germany he is doing as his brother done and he wants to make his own name, I hope he stays though.

Serie A isnt the powerhouse it used to be i dont think. Still a test though

All about opinions, but can’t understand anyone saying “he wasn’t great today”.

The whole game he was the one urging us on, sometimes on his own. And in the second half he ran the game. I had him as MoM, personally.
Totally agree.

He was the dominant presence on the pitch in the second half. As others were fading he got stronger almost by pure force of personality.

Its no but that could work in his favour, the next club is a stepping stone to the very top, if he goes I think Germany is off the cards as that's what Jude done and hes always said he wanted to make his own name, Spain he will be forever seens as Judes brother, France doesn't have a team that could afford him and have that media coverage his 'brand' will want (minus PSG but hes not that level yet) so you basically have either Italy or a European chasing Premier League team. Italy seems perfect, nothing against him but McTominay has proven you can go over and raise your profile if you put in the work, AC, Roma, Florentina or Lazio are all possibilities just from the size of the club for me, no idea if they can afford or need him mind.

Bollox, we've got Le Bris, Regis Le Bris, I just don't think you understand.

Serie A is a retirement home for Premier League players, maybe we can move some of our old boys on in future.

Does his brand want him struggling in a side realistically fighting relegation all season abit like Josh Brownhill did for Burnley or players Like N’Didi for Leicester did this season? They will want him playing in a frontfoot team and competing for things which is fair enough. If he stays and god forbid we have a poor season and get relegated and he struggles it could potentially scupper his next move so his agent parents etc will strike whislt the iron is hot
Exactly, he’s guaranteed playing regularly in a team winning most games and in the highest profile in club football champions league, we can offer him premier league but barring something amazing a season of struggle

I think the fact he is only 19 will count against him, we will expect a big fee and he’s maybe not ready to run the midfield, should stay here for 15 years but will be more like 1 year

Why not? You are a starter in the biggest league in the world. Sell for around 40m or keep and possibly have a generational talent to sell?

He could go to Dortmund or similar and get a taste of champions league football early or play a big part in our return.

He wasn’t great today. But he’s proved he’s going on to be a top player at the very top of the game. One more season Jobe.
I thought he was class today like. Not many look after the ball as well as he does. Class act. Really hope he stays for another year.
My mom today, fantastic
