They could and should have got Diarra from there parent club.
 
At brighton also 6goals in 6 appearances in europa league, 4 penalties
50% of all goals in all competitions since signing for Brighton were penalties

It needs a huge overhaul tbh, currently it’s just 20 teams deciding the rules so they won’t ever change a rule that they can take advantage of. It’s the same as being allowed to sell women’s clubs for stupid amounts, they didn’t even have a vote because at the meeting they knew it wouldn’t get passed, now Villa are rumoured to be doing the same to get through psr without a fine/points deduction.
