No apologies for repeating myself, but....

The Saudi's didn't buy Newcastle because they respected the clubs history, fans and tradition. They don't want any of that baggage

They bought Newcastle because they. knew the fans would allow them to erase their history and tradition and start with a blank slate. They could have had a much more successful team in Spain or Italy for less money, but they knew that fans over there wouldn't be as complaint.

Decent player. The market is screwed but it doesn’t mean players are overpriced. If we want to attract quality we are going to have to pay stinking fees and wages sadly.

Inflated transfer fees aren't the problem as clubs receive inflated fees for the players they sell. Wages take money out.
