Jhon Lucumi - Transfer Rumour

I remember many many moons ago Jack Charlton saying/predicting Stan Cummins would be first million quid footballer.
Oh how we scoffed and ridiculed any notion of such fees

Milton Nunez sends his best
Not a great beliver in economics and inflation then? ;)

As mental as it is, i'll maybe see a billion pound player in my lifetime. Hopefully when Chelsea sign Poveda in an emergency 3 month loan.

Seems highly misjudged by them.
It hurts etc but maybe what they have done is good for the game in general.
It sends a message to club fans that club will stand up against best players being cherry picked Willy Nelly with nary a whimper of protest.
Imagine if eg Sadiki ends up being a reincarnation of peak Kante and despite having several years left on his contract and we want to keep him, a big 6 team comes calling and turns his head?
I would expect my club to dig its heels in

Would you? Id expect my club to sell him for a 3x profit.

Alfred Common was an English footballer who played at inside forward or centre forward. He is most famous for being the first player to be transferred for a fee of £1,000 on his transfer to Middlesbrough from Sunderland in 1905.

That's about £100k now - absolutely crazy.

Probably the signing I am least bothered about not happening. Already have Alderete, reports of not being great in the air, big fee with little to no sell on value and signed an alternative with similar pedigree on loan.

I heard Lucumi is absolutely livid that Bologna blocked his move to us.

Apparently he totally lost his ragu, barged into the owner's office and really didn't mince his words. He said the times where they enjoyed a good relationship are long pasta. He told them he has major beef with them now.
I heard there’s a chance of getting him on Canne-Loani until the end of the seasoning. Orzo I’ve been told. Be Fusili to speculate though.
