I think Vardy is a great call.

Hasn't lost his pace and finishing. Loves a good crowd. Ideal coach/mentor for Mayenda and Isidor. Free agent and kind on PSR

The Mags had Botman and Burn for a while but I think Howe changed it citing tactical issues in building out from the back.

It's generally to do with body shape / angles and turning as right footers tend to naturally turn towards the right to cover space and vice-versa for lefties.

I do think the optimum set up is a left and right footer. Also for passing lanes as well, they tend to find slightly different passes more naturally depending on the side they're on

However, in the first XI, if they're both good, it doesn't really matter to have 2 left footers or 2 right footers.

Where I was a bit concerned with Alderete and Lucumi was that there was no RCB/RB cover or challenge to Ballard and Hume. I think Mukiele provides that well enough
