You have no idea if we are close to any or not, neither have I

You don’t have to delve into the memory banks very far to know that our signings mostly just come bang out of the blue and it’s sorted

That is very likely to happen again this week

That just leaves it too, I'm anybodies as long as you pay me the highest wage possible....and don't forget my agents wedge.

The longer the search goes on it'll lead to panic buys.

Wouldn't be surprised if the club have already moved on from this. 2 main hurdles look to be that we can't seem to negotiate a price with his club, and the other being him not exactly making any noises about wanting to be here with other clubs interested.

Probably left a take it or leave it offer with them and started looking elsewhere (hopefully).

This keeps getting regurgitated as news. It
seems to have been the situation for weeks now.
 
I get the feeling he was expecting bigger clubs to be in for him. His agent seems to be putting leaks out there. I still wouldn’t be surprised to see him end up here though

100%.

We're moving on so now they're on the back foot and trying to drum up other interest with our interest still there just in case.

Whilst players and agents play that game so do clubs. Its all just a big cattle market!
