Find it hard to believe the media reports on this one are all true. We'll have sounded him out beforehand so if we have been incrementally upping the bids then we will have been encouraged to do so. Either more money will sort this or it hasn't been on the cards for a while imo.

Xhakas transfer took a month and all the media coming out of Italy and Columbia is the exact same as the Xhaka transfer was

The fact it’s gone on this long either means

A) the player is showing interest and we’re working on it

Or

B) media are well of we’ve moved on and we’re being used to try get him a transfer

Boring answer but we can't know until we see it on the pitch, the PL is a different beast. We do need at least 1 centre half though, that is for definite.
