Release clause had to be in 1 payment rather than spread out in instalments, so much worse for us in terms of cash flow and PSR

The transfer fee is amortised over the length of the contract up to a maximum of 5 years regardless ow whether we pay in instalments or not.
Additionally KLD set up a credit facility for the club, which means he could pay an upfront fee for a player using that, and then the club could pay that back in instalments.

24 man squad there. Allowed 25, and honestly looking at it I can't see which position we'd go for. I'm all for putting faith in the front 3, why wouldn't you when two of them have just scored in the opening day, if a striker is to be replaced though it'd be Isidor. 4 strikers in a squad for one position just wouldn't work.

We aren’t paying £20+m for him to be back up. As unpalatable as it is, Alderete and Lucumi will be our two first choice centre half’s.
I think if we end up with Reinildo or Cirkin at centre half we will have needed Lucimi.
Can we sticky the post regarding PSR and them wanting the release clause in one payment?

Ballard has been on excellent form lately but I think history shows that he is fairly injury prone. Hopefully he stays fit and that's all behind him, but he only managed 20 apps for us last season.
