Jhon Lucumi - Transfer Rumour

I know we are very much used to not having the depth so it's natural to think who starts and that is it.

But as seen with the Seelt injury on Saturday having replacements on the bench that can come on and do a job at the extremely high level required is imperative to ensuring we don't drop off at any point in the season.

Injuries and suspensions will happen so to have this as an option is next level recruitment.

Our team could have 11 changes next week in the cup and still look stronger than the team we finished last season with which is absolutely mental!

In regards to the three back, I don't personally think so, RLB has been so vocal about the foundations, system and all the players understanding it. We won't change to a system we have never used. We don't need to play every signing together because they are good and we paid a canny fee, we need a strong squad if we want to establish ourselves here. Cups to think about too

Are we not getting ahead of ourselves? It only says we've submitted another bid
Think the new bit is also the player fancies the move. Romooo doesn’t post stuff like that unless he’s had a nod from the agent. It’ll all be down to if we can deal with the club now. Maybe hard though I think Bournemouth have just fucked is a bit paying £30m for that lad I can see these wanting similar for him.

I mentioned how Lucumi and an aerially dominant CB would be a ridiculous pairing. Maybe to @woodlebert ?

our other two certainly bring that

these CB options would be ridiculous if we pull off Lucumi.

I think the fact Fabrizio is tweeting this now saying it’s our first official bid despite conversations all summer and now the player saying he wants the move, this might finally move quickly.

how are we potentially going to have

Ballard
Lucumi
Alderete
Mukiele
Reinildo
O’Nien

as CB options for a newly promoted side. Good lord man.

If he's in the last year of contract its a massive risk to expect him to sign a new deal when the window closes. Especially if he pushes for the move.

I think Daffy may have already made an appearance on this thread, but what the hell
