Jealousy from other clubs about safc being trendy now

You need to remember “pride goeth before destruction”, I’m happy with everything atm, but there’s a little matter of actually playing in the hardest league in the world and finishing higher than 18th. I reckon the calibre of the signings so far and those were linked with will make that a great chance, but let’s see.

Let's face it, all the clubs are banking/hoping we'll be the whipping boys. The last thing they need is a club of our size reaching its potential and making it even harder for the usual suspects to qualify for Europe.

We'll continue to improve imo. I think we'll be fine and continue to get better and compete.

Getting way too carried away on here like. To date we’ve still got a worse squad than the day of the play off final.

Fingers crossed we get a few deals over the line. I’ve got no doubt the ones throbbing away now are the same ones calling for RLB’s head before the away leg against Coventry.

Let’s not get carried away - it will be a tough season with survival the aim.

If we are 17th when all is said and done it will be a huge achievement and can set us up for years to come.
Accept your point but I’d suggest the excitement is that we’re obviously given it a serious go

Survive or not I’ll not be too disappointed

The more the merrier I say.

(As long as it's not the vile or dingles of course).

I'll settle for no less than a European spot. There is no reason why we shouldn't be competitive first season if we sign about 8-9 players. The premierPremier League is a lot more competitive these days since the spending restrictions, no team is guaranteed a European spot these days, just look at spurs and man utd.

This is our time, lifetimes of mediocrity and bad luck is over, the lord has spoken and he says good news! The players should be going into with my attitude, not one of merely survival.
