He’s been just as bad the other way around. Was never a foul on Roefs when he got caught outside the box. His constant cheery chuckling face would irritate the life out of me if I was a player.

The more I watch him, the more I think he generally gets it right when the stakes are low, but the second there's anything riding on it, his decision making becomes erratic. It wouldn't be so bad if you knew he was always lenient or always whistle happy, but he's all over the place. Honestly thought Roefs was going to walk, so I'm glad that didn't happen, but I'd be furious if it was the other way around. Penalty decision (lack of) was obviously equally bad.

I agree with you there. He seems to get bigger decisions wrong consistently. Like you said, his level of leniency swings wildly from game-to-game. I don’t think he’s particularly biased against us as a team; I think he’s made some shocking decisions against most clubs in the league.
