Wasn't even thinking of thatNot if Ballard goes the other way![]()
It will all be on the table in summer . Saving grace is Ballard might be concerned about ending up with this lads bench spotWasn't even thinking of that![]()
I’d be surprised if our targets overlap with theirs.Neil will end up wanting all of our targets, just you watch.
As far as the press are concerned probably. Then they can write bollocks about us missing out on a thirty four year old journeyman.Neil will end up wanting all of our targets, just you watch.

The profile of his targets will clearly be different to ours.
Ballard might want a bit of stability. He's moved clubs every summer for the last 3 years. Hopefully we can get at least another season from him before we sell. Not if Ballard goes the other way![]()
Out of contract but Brighton have the option to extend for a year. He seems to think they'll extend and then sell relatively cheaply. Is he available on a free?
From what I remember, they talked about him being able to bring the ball out from the back well. Never seen him play, but if he’s as well regarded as Ballard was, I’d be over the moon.He sounds a confident lad, be a great signing for us and add some serious competition at Centre Half
I meant the type of player Neil will go for. More experienced playersYoung up coming player who has experience playing for Blackburn and doing well (player of the season possibly), I think he'll be on a lot of Championship club's radars regardless of club profiles.

If this was 18 months ago, I’d agree. Today, the club are looking medium to long term. The same was Lihadji was apparently signed to replace Diallo, 8 months before he’d be needed, we might be looking at Batth’s age. Who’s to say he won’t come in & replace Batth. Right now we don’t need a centre half, but we’re signing players for years to come. He'll probably have plenty of options come the summer. There'll be the sides going up to the Prem, those coming down. I'm sure Neil will be looking to replace Phil Jagileka at Stoke....he must be eligible for a bus pass this year!
I'm sure we'll hold a bit of an interest in him, but will he get ahead of Ballard and Batth? We've also got Alese, Onien, Cirkin and Anderson who can play there. I'm not sure we'll be as interested as other clubs may be in the summer.
