Jamie Vardy Documentary

Vardy's 39 year old man ya gonk. And yet he is still scoring the odd goal in Serie A. Seven years ago when Vardy was 32, he scored 23 Premier League goals as Leicester finished 5th.The next season he'd score another 15 and win the FA Cup.

How many full 90s did Vardy get for England? Six. Two of them on the left wing. Thirteen starts. Scored in four of them.

So, Vardy has played for seven years and 80 games more than Kane, a fair bit of Vardy's career played at a lower standard level, yet he's still 110 goals behind Kane, who's played at PL level virtually his entire career.

* 7 years ago - 2019 season. Vardy scored 23 goals, followed by 15 the following season. The same period Kane scored 29 goals, then 35 goals the following season ? 64 goals against 38 ? Bit more than Vardy, then?

* At 32 years of age, Vardy scored 23 goals. At 32 years of age, Kane has scored 55 goals this season.

There's a reason Vardy got so few starts for England.... he wasn't rated good enough for more games than he played. Bit part player by age 31, Kane still an important player at nearly 33 years of age.

No doubt, Vardy's is an interesting story. As I said, he's a very good player whov did well to rise to the levels he did, although I have no doubt his wife - 5 kids by 3 blokes, previously married to someone 35 years older than her and known for being a liar and losing him £3 million in her ill fated Wagatha Christie libel case was of more than a little interest to the TV producers for the documentary.

You're absolutely entitled to your opinion Vardy is/was better than Kane, the stats and facts don't show that, however.

Aye, in a bloody pub league. Luiz Diaz scores for fun over there anarl. Ya can't take goals scored in Germany seriously. Woltemade scored goals over there.

But anyway, nobody's disputing that Kane has scored more goals overall.

Jamie Vardy was still a top quality striker.

Because Stockbridge Park Steels, FC Halifax Town and Fleetwood Town where Vardy scored nearly 100 of his goals are the creme de la creme of English football ?

Kane is playing for a top club in Germany, Vardy for relegation strugglers in a roughly equivalent league in Italy ..... nearly 40 years old and playing to help pay the legal fees his muppet wife landed him with.

No one said Vardy wasn't a very good striker, you were the one who claims he's a better striker than Kane, which he never was, as his career stats show.

:lol Why are you so hung up on his non-league career?

Two Prem seasons he outscored Kane. He had a better conversion rate in all of them. Prem winners medal. FA Cup winners medal.

Not a lot between them statistically in their primes, though different players.

I'd take Vardy in a pinch.

Well he always tried very hard. If he had been as good as you infer he would have been snatched up by a top 6 club once Leicester started their fall
My understanding was that he was very settled at Leicester who had given him a second chance
He would have been a brilliant signing for us but Leicester saw something a lot of clubs didn’t

The EPL clubs probably thought it was a one of season for him especially since he'd come from non league, a lot of snobbery about.

To give a fairer insight into total games played and goals scored.

If you just want to take PL, then Kane outscores Vardy by 213 to 143. Kane is second in the all time PL list, Vardy is 15th. Speaks for itself.

I get it, you'd have Vardy as your No. 9 over Kane. I wouldn't. Both were top level PL players. We'll agree to disagree on who plays No. 9. 👍

Excellent watch and what the daily Mail done to him regarding his biological father was disgraceful . Like him or not he came from nowhere at such a late age and won the league something that we probably won’t ever see again hats off to him 👌👌

So it seems.
One of his best mates is coloured
I think he is just a bit thick
