Couldn't hack it as a bairn. My Nana used to go in and I'd cry all the way around. Think I'd probably tear up now tbh.

Then again, I didn't used to like the smell of Vaux as a bairn, but as I got older I definitely missed it. Would love that back.

This was once the life and soul of Sunderland city centre. Now it is a complete shambles, with horrible store owners picking on the less fortunate who don't buy their products. The meat in the butchers in there is also of very poor quality. The place needs gutted and replaced with a Next store.

Place is a mess, has been for as long as I can remember it.
