What other manager would take this job at this point in the season? It’s League 1, its mid-September and you’ve got to get top two first time or get the boot, which would be a big blot on the CV. Failing that you’ve got the playoffs but even going up via playoffs would have a lot of fans wanting you sacked. And you not only have to win, but win pretty, and have most possession in most games, otherwise you’ll still come under pressure, and there can’t be many managers who get promotion while a good proportion of the fans are calling for their heads.

Ah so you just read what journalists say then repeat it on here.

That explains a lot actually.
Can you not read, I was at the game and that’s my opinion , I said that’s the reporters also seemed to think in their reports. But don’t let that get in the way of your Ross out agenda

Yeah we finished 5th with the most expensive squad in league 1 history, and you think we should only be a “decent third division side”

Fuck off.
Oooh look at me I can swear hiding behind my keyboard. Let’s just forget about the whole turmoil of the new owners first summer because we spent a bit of money on assembling pretty much a a whole new squad, plus money doesn’t guarantee success
Like I said. It explains a lot.
Like I said you don’t understand basic English

Imagine thinking journalists are always right, basing your opinions on what they say, then using their articles to justify your motives.

Explains a lot.

What makes people think another manager is going to win every game on the bounce like?

Ross has earned himself more time by results he got recently keeping us top end, if he went on a bad run then I'm all for a change.

People never learn from the past of changing managers for the sake of it, changing training methods, tactics and everthing else. How do you expect a team to settle when everthing is ripped up on an incoming manager?

Blame the player who kick the ball, if they cant string 2 passes together then sorry but that's not Ross's fault like
His recruitment has been woeful. Tactics inept. Players playing out of position, awful substitutions when chasing the game. Weak mentality. Uninspiring onnthe touchline. All Ross.

Which club sacks a player when things go badly? It’s Ross to Blane as I’m sure we would see this team romp the league with a good motivational man manager who can get the best out of players.

You are now in the minority in wanting to give him more time im afraid.

Just reading through a few threads since the full-time whistle last night and there seems to be a few people who had previously been pretty pro-Ross who have either turned or seem to be pretty close.
Last year both the Doncaster Manager and Fleetwood's manager (I know!) said with our squad we should be running away with the league. Ross does not get the best out of the squad and is serving up football that is rubbish to watch. It needs to improve, as he has said many times, do you think it will? How?

Peterborough's gobshite chairman said the same on Twitter as well. Seem to remember him implying after our game down there last season that he didn't rate Ross at all.

He's boring and his football is boring.
his strikers are boringly shite
His tactics are boring

the only exciting thing he's done is turn on the fans cock-a-hoop after beating Accrington and he couldn't even build on that

What are you talking about he played a rb at rb !! We did dominate for the first 40 mins and if we scored the pen it would of been game over. They played better 2 nd half but we still had the best chance to win it with wyke been put clean through

We didn't dominate for 40 minutes. The penalty was saved in the 29th minute and they took the initiative immediately after.

Never said journalists are always right, like I said learn to read and think before you post rubbish. It was based on my opinion on being at the game if you don’t think we were the better side in the first half then you need to stop watching football, yes they were better in the 2nd half but we still should of won the game, we didn’t we move on to Bolton game

That’s your opinion not mine, they came into the game as you would if the opposition but they didn’t do much till the 2nd half

We were the better side for 30 minutes. You said we dominated for the majority. We didn't.

Its bizarre you tell me to stop watching football when you base your opinions on what journalists say.

A link to the match report. See how many opportunities they had, compared to us after the penalty save. The live updates bit tells you.

You aren't allowed to mention the chances they had because we missed a penalty. He's already covered that.

We didn't dominate for 40 minutes as he said and the evidence is there. Yes, they didn't exactly create sitters to be missed but they put a hell of a lot of balls into our box and won a lot of headers, directed towards goal.

the general consensus was/is the table starts to take shape after 8 to 10 games.. it was widely agreed if we arent top or second in this time ross should be bladdered... dont win on satuday and we lose more ground.. hes on his final warning..
