I just don’t get why he had to mention it on radio. He’s coming across as a bit of an attention seeker so far, nobody will mind if we are doing well but he’s going to get a shock of it doesn’t. We aren’t Eastleigh. I think he’s handled this very poorly.
Bit of a gobshite like isn't he

their best player signed for Celtic in January (and was loaned back to St Mirren). He hasn't exactly taken a diddy team to the dizzy heights. St Mirren are a good team and it only requires a couple of good players and you can stroll that league. They shouldn't be pissing about in the championship.
Your beloved side took 2 seasons to get out of that league

Oh and they aren't pissing about in The Championship thanks to Ross

Deserves great credit for the job he's done at St Mirren.

If we weren't going to get someone like Chris Wilder or a Gary Rowett etc then instead of going back to the same old faces on the English managerial roundabout, I can see the logic in us getting a good young manager like Ross.

Ross seems a good fit for this exciting new dawn for our club.

That's fair enough, not sure what left field type of manager we could attract in league one mind.

we don't need a left field appointment. We need a safe appointment. Wilder was my first choice (but quickly realised that he was using us as leverage vs Sheff Utd).

I'm struggling to trust Jack Ross to totally rip up our culture of many, many years & start afresh.

Stewart Donald stated he wanted someone to rip us up and start again with a total fresh philosophy. We required a total change in culture.

there's not a single shred of evidence that Jack Ross is capable of that.

I’m not in a position to say whether there is or whether there isn’t.
But his age and record last season plus the views of the St Mirren fans suggest he will provide a very fresh and driven approach.

Like Moyes, Coleman, MON etc etc etc - sorry but I’m bored shitless of late career charlatans. I’m happy with this appointment based on what I know

Grayson was a supposedly ‘safe’ appointment, That turned out well. I’m happy to give this guy a chance to build something new.

St Mirren were in deep shit when he took over them last season and saved them from relegation.

They finished on 39 points last season and he managed to improve them by 35 points.

Think you're being a bit over critical.

Moyes was “safe”
Grayson was “safe”

Mark Warburton strolled the Scottish Championship and that bloke's a f***ing clown. Forgive me for not getting overly excited over St Mirren manager Jack Ross.
I've no problem with you not getting over excited.

What's CC done in club football in the past 10 years to suggest he's a better option though?

We've had supposedly "safe" pair of hands, its gotten us from the premier league to league one.

People need to wake up and smell the coffee. Looks like we are getting a young hungry manager who’s just had a great season and collected manager of the year up in Scotland.
We are in league 1.
We haven’t chosen a footballing dinosaur in mick Mac who was hounded out of Ipswich. In fact we’ve shown more positively and took this fella off Ipswich where he was interviewed at least twice.

I welcome the new direction the new owners are taking.

The only negative about Ross was his behaviour with Hartlepool. Not withstanding that I'm more pleased with Ross's appointment than any of the other names mentioned except Craig Bellamy.................and I'm the only person who mentioned him.
