Think about the disease not the symptoms. We need a long term plan executed by a hungry leader, if we get this right the bums on seats will take care of themselves

Stewart Donald stated he wanted someone to rip us up and start again with a total fresh philosophy. We required a total change in culture.

there's not a single shred of evidence that Jack Ross is capable of that.

he got relegated with Alloa having taken over in December of that season in a league where the bottom team this season finished on 4 (FOUR) points. If we're going to vilify Coleman and we have done then this lad should be taking pelters. The Scottish championship is an embarrassing standard of football. I was hoping for someone who might boost ticket sales.
Taking st mirren from relegation candidates to clear winners is doing a good job though

Why was Donald blabbing on the radio this morning about terms being agreed etc when St Mirren hadn’t even granted us permission to speak to him?
I’ve a feeling this fellas gob is going to run away with him a little too often. He needs to learn that we are big news and not a tinpot club like Eastleigh.
There were reports the other day that we'd spoken to him already. Although he does seem to have been a bit premature. I would imagine St Mirren wanted to do it properly, hence the official statement.

Unless you know him as a manager/coach, you can’t really say he’s not capable

Why can’t he? Surely he has his own style and philosophies.

Didn’t know that about Alloa. Do you think he has done a good job since then, or are you feeling it’s not much of an achievement?

First I had heard of him was an article last week saying Ipswich had a great young manager (must have looked nailed on he was off there last week).

Proof will be in the pudding, good luck to him and hopefully he’s a raging success.

their best player signed for Celtic in January (and was loaned back to St Mirren). He hasn't exactly taken a diddy team to the dizzy heights. St Mirren are a good team and it only requires a couple of good players and you can stroll that league. They shouldn't be pissing about in the championship.

I said there's not a single shred of evidence he's capable and there isn't. Most important season in this club's history. We need to get this right. This is a totally needless risk.

That's fair enough, not sure what left field type of manager we could attract in league one mind.

The twat had me buzzing at work saying he was jumping up and down this morning when it was agreed. Plus, that fans would be excited by the appointment. Hmmm...

I just don’t get why he had to mention it on radio. He’s coming across as a bit of an attention seeker so far, nobody will mind if we are doing well but he’s going to get a shock of it doesn’t. We aren’t Eastleigh. I think he’s handled this very poorly.
