Stewart said something the other day "Sunderland have to get their heads out of the Prem and even the Championship, until that happens we will never rebuild" he is right, we all want a manager we've heard of but the reality is we aren't going to get a top manager, not at this stage. The new owners has just come in, give them a chance to get it right at least.
I'd rather have anyone than another go on the merry go round of Arry, BSA, Moyes, Pardew, Bruce, Hodgson, Hughes etc

Show us all the quotes where Donald said that. I absolutely do not remember him saying any such thing but happy to be proved wrong.

It was all over here after the interview/podcast. Unless I've misread.

Look hopefully he comes in and does a great job, and i'm fully behind him. He has still only managed in the lower Scottish leagues to this date however, regardless if he is highly rated or not this is a massive step up for him.

Good appointment if true, highly rated and turned down a team in a league above us. Some people still seem to think we are in the Premier League.

I'd much rather have a young up and coming manager instead of one of the usual mercenaries that just seem to go round in circles.
