Jack Clarke

Also, had the privilege of seeing the QPR goal. Perfect fit for the club, Ian Harte is a cúnt.

Agreed, he did it too regular and for what, say around 90 games in 3ish reasons to be a flash in the pan. Imho he is a top championship player with the potential to play in the premier. How many premier league players would pull up trees playing in a relatively unfamiliar position?

I can see why he left and he probably can too, but we have all (probably) been miserable in a job before and it's hardly conductive to optimal performance.

Tin hat on here, but I think if we signed him back as our squad is, he would be our best winger, at least of the left.

Agree on harte also.

He’s an out and out left winger. Not this inside forward nonsense.

Pep ruined Grealish with it. McKenna has ruined Clarke with it.

He was an inside forward for us. Right footed, constantly coming inside and having a shot.

I tell thee, it'd be a relatively safe bet for us if they want to cut their losses.
Is he not fast. I thought he was.

Plenty fast, one of his main attributes.

This is what happens when you let your agent wreck your career. Yes he’ll be on a good contract but he could have achieved everything he wanted with us and he’d probably be on the same money with us now if he’d stopped. Shambles of a decision to sign for Ipswich
It's a great example of making a career at a club that you fit in with

I agree re the job perspective. It’s just such a shame that he allowed his head to be turned.

I didn’t think he’d be a good fit to come back in Jan when he wasn’t getting game time or being played in the right position, but I think now he’d be an excellent (re)addition to the squad. I reckon he’d be reinvigorated and have a point to prove. Add that to his quality and at the very least he’d push Mundle, Isidor and Lé Fee to be even better.

Ha’way Jack - you know it makes sense.

I wouldn’t be surprise if he ends up somewhere like rangers on loan Russell Martin likes him
They've got Mickey Moore on loan from Spurs who is a similar player or at least same position.
Harte is a knacker like.
Clarke needs to do a Calvert-Lewin and sack his agent for sure. Basically a leach.

Do we think if Clarke had stayed we'd have gotten automatic promotion? Doesn't matter like and Mundle was great early season before his injuries but Clarke was one of the best players in the Championship. Or would we not have got Isidor if he'd stayed? Doesn't matter.

I wouldn't have him back here because the lad deserves to play first team football and I don't think he'd get it here now.

If we could get him for like £5m I'd absolutely love to see it. With Mundle being injured.
He only really had one really good season for us.

His entire gameplan is run down the left wing, cut inside and shoot. Did he have one good season where he exceeded his usual quality or is he underperforming now?
He was class for both full seasons he was here. He also started last season with a goal contribution in both games. Obviously the PL is a massive step up but Ipswich haven't helped him by insisting Leif Davis provides the width.

I said at the time that it was a fuckin awful career move for him, and Harte should have been buttfucked for engineering it.

In hindsight, it turns out that it will be the biggest paycheque he will ever get, and everyone now knows his level.

I loved the lad when he was here.

As a newly promoted side to the Prem, would I take JC back?. NO.

Should have just stayed here, where you were loved Jack.
