He was amazing for us up until his injury. Not the same player after. Wasn’t the goal be scored for us at the start of last season his only goal of the campaign?!

He's not in the prem and still looking shit. He was good for us but a 1 trick pony

Seems he's always the first to be subbed off, and he was sacrificed a few times last season after a red card or tactical change, so he's not had a proper run in the team.
 
Can’t call the lad even with all the noise around his situation he was still giving his all for us. Loved him. Lad was great for us. Sometimes a player and a club are just the right fit and I just don’t think he will ever replicate his form for us elsewhere. That Ipswich move was a poor one for him. He’s back where he started as we all predicted and now the pressure is on him to produce the kind of form he showed here.
 
He hasn’t got the power for the prem imo. Not physical enough. Can’t dance around 6ft athletic, international level fullbacks. Hasn’t got that extra yard of pace to get past them like an Anthony Gordon either (tin hat on).
 
Jack Clarke was a big part of the resurrection of this club from utter dross in League one to where we are now. He was a joy to watch at times, always committed to the club, and whether it was at championship level or not he was and is a talented footballer.

I for one would happily see him back at the club one day. Not now perhaps but some point in the future. I think there’s a good chance when his career is over, Sunderland will be the club that meant most to him.
