Jack Clarke

He scored last week and wasnt even bothered.....he obviosuly is not enjoying it.....Ipswich fans are on his back on social media.....been played out of position and after today I think he ll be even more in the doldrums. well done his agent

That’s the difference in levels.

Always thought he could step up until we played NUFC last season and realised he was a long way off.

I was never confident he could. He's excellent in the Championship but he has to be running at players further up the pitch and as much as he's a danger in and around the box his control isn't like the ball is stuck to his foot and he's not exceptionally quick and so doesn't offer that much variation.

He probably had to make the move at this point in his career but there was a limited market for him really. I think we'd be much better off for having him at the moment, but having signed his replacement and having Watson coming through we probably needed to blood those and invest elsewhere.

You have to go back two seasons to show one example.

If Carlsberg did pathetic you would be it.

Go on YouTube and put in Clarke goals and assists. Count how many on each foot. It’ll show how braindead you are.

Someone’s already put a link on above man you clueless idiot, his last assist for us in his last game was also a cut back from the left.

As I don’t believe you follow us never mind watch us I wouldn’t expect you to know that though.

Said it at the time when people were having a meltdown about the fee, he was always going to be valued higher by us fans, than he was other clubs. It was telling only Ipswich came in for him.

I'm sure we were giving him a gentle push to the door, but his agent should have stepped in.

I know it's the Premier League, but he can't be enjoying his football as much as he would be here.

Don’t have any sympathy for players who seem “badly advised.” Any team player with half a brain should be looking at what a future team can do for them tactically, if they fit in etc.

He’ll probably do well enough in the championship next season.
Exactly...surely he would've asked the coach about playing style/systems.........he wanted to leave for more dosh, which is fair enough.

Our team was set up for Jack let’s face it without a centre forward he was our main source of goals.
There’s no way for Ipswich playing in the Premier League that was ever going to be the case.
He’s had to try to play in an unfamiliar position in a struggling team it’s hardly surprising he’s struggled.
He’s obviously not a top Premiership player but I still think he’s capable of better than what he’s showed at that level.

They see the money and Nout else. He was hardly inundated with offers he’s prob on about 40k wages and was maybe on 10/15 with us? No brainer that he went.
He doesn’t suit them at all but if he’d had a stinker this season he wasn’t going to get the opportunity to earn that type of money again.
The lads being hung out to dry playing that role. His whole game is out wide.
Exactly, he’s an out and out winger. More than good enough for a prem side who play a system suited to his strengths.

He will do well in a team that plays to his strengths but he clearly has a fragile confidence and needs to be somewhere he is comfortable. His spells at Spurs and Ipswich are looking as bad as each other, so his days as a Premier League player looks to be over, there's unlikely to be a 3rd chance.
Outsider coming into a team who were very close knit last season, added to the fact he’s been most comfortable up north.

Just doesn’t seem like any sort of fit there for the lad, never no how much his departure was on him or his agent or on the club for that matter. Just hope he doesn’t have too much of a wage drop in a relegation clause to make the move worthwhile.
