That’s the difference in levels. He’s actually failed to make that same pass for us many times. Don’t ever recall him being punished for it, though.
Gap between championship and Premier massiveThat’s the difference in levels.
Always thought he could step up until we played NUFC last season and realised he was a long way off.
Did he do that in the cup game against mags crossfield? He’s actually failed to make that same pass for us many times. Don’t ever recall him being punished for it, though.
Play him in his correct position and we will see if he’s good enough for prem, awful move for him going thereHe’s one of these players that’s one of the best at championship level but just hasn’t quite got what it takes to succeed at the very top.
I hope Jobe and Rigg are watching this.
Went on the outside and crossed on his left foot for Stewart to score within the first 2 minutes of the video so you obviously didn’t bother watching. Then on the outside for the goal straight after that you clown.Errrrrr, he doesn’t go down the outside or use his left foot in any of these clips.
Or is this sarcasm?
Not sure. I recall him doing it a few times over the years.Did he do that in the cup game against mags crossfield?
He will do well in a team that plays to his strengths but he clearly has a fragile confidence and needs to be somewhere he is comfortable. His spells at Spurs and Ipswich are looking as bad as each other, so his days as a Premier League player looks to be over, there's unlikely to be a 3rd chance.Don’t have any sympathy for players who seem “badly advised.” Any team player with half a brain should be looking at what a future team can do for them tactically, if they fit in etc.
He’ll probably do well enough in the championship next season.
Yip ,bet he wishes he was still at Sunderland
Most said it at the time, he’s basically upped his wages and nowt more. He was loved here could’ve played a massive part in getting us up and became a club legend but his agent chased the coin and in honesty has damaged his playing career but helped his and his players bank balance. He will be a championship player again next season having failed again in the premier league.Play him in his correct position and we will see if he’s good enough for prem, awful move for him going there
What if Delap didn't want to go back?Man city have a buy back for Delap at 20 mill I believe. Great business. He’s basically on loan at Ipswich, fully expect city to buy him back even if they don’t want to him.
So Ipswich will only get the 20 they paid for him back
City will get 40/50 mill for him
Yip. The step up is enormous. I said when he left at very very best he’ll only ever be in struggling PL teams. I don’t begrudge him going mind. Any player who gets a chance to play in the PL will take it. Those saying he must regret it now are living in la-la land. That’s the difference in levels.
