Jack Clarke

We were out played by a premier league team everyone passed to Clarke and he had 3 on him was never going to do anything
He never had three on him. An out of form Trippier had him in his pocket right from the start.

Don't think any of our players could be satisfied with their performance that day tbh.

Players career is so short, so they often have to take a risk with moves . Take Alex Pritchard for instance . Was at Huddersfield Norwich and Spurs on between 33000 and 23000 a week for over five years . Then came to us for £8500 a week as his career had taken a dip. Im sure Jack Clarke was well happy playing for us but the time to move came and he took it and I imagine his earnings have rocketed . Just think of all the good moments he gave us and hope he has a good season at Ipswich.

*Ipswich substitute
So if somebody hasn’t broke into the first team after a few games they mustnt be that good then?

Does that logic apply for isidor, mepham, Aleksic and the rest of our summer signings or does it not work like that?
It's true though he couldn't beat Trippier
We had one outlet and they could afford to put three players on him because we literally had zero other threat 😂😂😂

There has been an Ipswich fan on here saying he'll be in the starting lineup very soon. He says their fans have been really impressed with him.
Why nor man. People on here have checked live scores and seen he’s not in the starting line up so he’s already failed.

Was never that good and wasn’t even the best winger at the club

There’s no place like the smb for people rewriting history.

Worked with an Ipswich fan last week for the day on a job, he said exactly that about Clark.
Reckons they’ve had a tough start but expects to finish around mid table.

The mans deluded. They`ll be in a relegation scrap for 30 odd games. The only games they wont be involved is the last few when they`ll already be relegated

What a silly thing to commit to writing

Bookmark it mate. They arent good enough. The only slight hope they have of staying up is if there are 3 even worse teams. I cant see 3 worse teams than them. Ipswich and Southampton are miles off imo.

They`ll likely go straight back up mind when they go down and thats when they should be able to have a proper go at it

At no time in that game did they put three players on him. An out of form Trippier snuffed him out completely.

Clarke, everybody else in the team, coaching staff and owners had an absolute mare tbh.

Better move?
Dont see what's bad about him going to a premier league club like.

Surely Harte is just paid by Clarke to advise him.
Clarke has his own mind - surely he signed for the club that he WANTED to sign for.
I wouldnt have thought he (or anyone) is just gonna sign for a club 'blindly', because he was told to.
Better move as in more chance of staying in the premier league beyond this season. High chance he's back where he started this time next season (albeit earning more money)
Harte is paid by clarke but also is paid heavily by ipswich for facilitating the deal - so it's always in the agents best interest to move a player on for a decent transfer fee.
I believe once premier league money was offered that's been the main focus for Harte and he's persuaded Clarke on that basis. Harte had said earlier in the season that he wanted Clarke to leave in the summer - it's obvious who was the main driver in this move.

If you'd said to clarke at the start of the summer he could go to ipswich i think he'd say he'd rather wait to see if a better side comes in for him.

Just my opinion of course

Tbh I wouldn't want him back.

I expect Watson and Mundle to go on to better things.

They definitely did like. Watch it back.

Trippier was showing him inside everytime and Clarke fell for it and basically two of their midfield were there to take it off him everytime

Clarke was shite but in no way to blame because he was literally our only outlet and all they had to worry about

Well we haven’t been in the relegation zone at any stage of the season so far and have played Man City, Liverpool and Brighton so I’m not sure what more you could really ask for.
Everton and Southampton have looked utterly woeful when I’ve seen them so so far this season, and if I was a betting man I’d have them both down.

I must admit, I’ve only really kept an eye out to see whether Clarke has got a game for you yet. I don’t think you’ll need the magic 40 points to stay up but it’s going to be tough.

We weren't really worried about him. From about 1 minute in he seemed uninterested in making any effort.

Possibly but what I meant is he was literally our only chance of anything happening in that game

The rest of them had been stinking the place out for months and were in shocking form
