Jack Clarke

There a financial sanctions in place against Russia.
Gazprom, the owners of Zenit, aren’t sanctioned despite being majority owned by the Russian government because we need to be able to buy gas from them. The worlds a shitty place really but there you go.

We had to sell, if we offered Clarke an offer as the best player in the league he might have stopped but we didn’t
We move on and go again 👌

He wasn't unhappy man, bored of reading this, trying to shift the blame from the club for his leaving?
Yes of course I am. He made it clear to the club that he wanted to move to play in the Premiership and so he absolutely should. Theres far from any guarantee that it would happen for him staying here. That doesn’t mean he was unhappy at Sunderland but if he woujd rather sign for Ipswich than extend his contract here all Sunderland have us a depreciating asset that may end up resenting us depriving him of his opportunity.
