Jack Clarke

If we go up it's worth 150m and KLD would sell at a massive profit.
Clarke carried us through entire games last season.

Personally don't think we'll make playoffs now and without Clarke there's a risk severe weakness is exposed the way it wasn't last season, making all the other players less valuable as sell ons.

We've had some gutless and short sighted moves in the past couple seasons but this has to be up there.
Another fuck up by Stinkman/KLD. Really thought we were on the right track this season after securing long term contracts for Ballard and Jobe. Should have known better.

If £15m is correct I can only assume they have got a massive sell on clause instead, which also circumnavigates the percentage paid to Spurs?

What I can't understand is the short sightedness of it.

With Clarke in the team the likes of Ba, Dan Neil, Rigg, Roberts all look like better players.
We've sold him for 15/20m, much less than he's worth, but I reckon at the same time him.leaving will knock the other players down 1m each at least.

So a net loss to realise a short term gain. Put him in the team all season and we finish in the playoffs and suddenly everyone out of contract will be worth more. He makes them look better than they are because he can carry the whole team.

Did they factor this in? Does abyone?

This new one on loan is even better.
Read it on the Isidora thread.

Hope he fails his medical
Bad news Jack the scans have given us some cause for concern deal is off

What’s up I’m fit, don’t miss many games, what’s it showing like

It’s showing you are carrying a horrible infectious little growth on your back, spinal area to be precise, think the medical term for it is Ianus Harteus

Until the actual fee is disclosed we are all pre judging everything. It will all come out in the wash and then either get out the pitchforks or opposite. Regardless of how it looks from the outside don’t underestimate the agent pushing and promoting Clarke to all and sundry. He will get a canny cut regardless of the actual sum

The thing with sell ons is you cant plan for it or monitor it really- he could leave for £50M in 4 years time and we might get like £10M of that but we could be in a different division with different owners by then- if it even ever happens.

Did Clarke turn up for training this morning or has he been sighted anywhere on the way to Ipswich. If it's not a done deal today can we play him tomorrow?
