Speakman and KLD shit themselves as they needed to cough up some money tomorrow for the incoming signings.....so has to accept the final offer from Ipswich.
I was undecided on the motives of the owners at the start of the summer, but the last couple of days confirms everything. Not willing to spend a penny on incoming transfers until it was virtually guaranteed we would get an incoming 8 figure fee. Then when the offer was still way below what he is worth, we crumble as we are committed to spending about 5 million on new players. Pathetic.
