Jack Clarke

We turned down burnley last year for him maybe he took action and told the club he wants away, sickening to loose him.

Could sign 3/4 decent players for that. Unfortunately that’s life and the draw of playing Premier League football and the wages they can offer. Surprised that it’s Ipswich though as think they will inevitably struggle.

This is us in trouble

Don’t beat about the bush

Bordering on disaster this cos we can’t replace him

Be happy with 16th in the championship and thank our zero ambition owners for this disgrace

Sunderland AFC happy to be amongst your milwalls and your Bristol City’s as average mid-table, if you’re lucky, teams

A disgrace
Calm down, we'll be fine.

That’s my point though - we sold Stewart last season with no adequate replacement.

We’re selling Clarke this season and (as yet) have no adequate replacement.

Do we just keep selling our best players because we won’t pay them decent wages, and as a result of selling them don’t get promoted?
Isn't that it
Sign potential
Polish them
Sell for big return
Use it rinse and repeat

I'm not saying i agree with it but....that's what we were told it'd be

People fuming about the fee as if it's there cash man 😂😂😂😂😂
Yep and as much as our owners are shite.

Clarke is the only person to blame here. He's the one f***ing off to a newly promoted side.

Ipswich signed an absolute boatload of attacking players. He was absolutely shite against Newcastle.

Daft if he thinks he's going to get anywhere playing a side more likely to come back down than him doing well in the Prem.

I think this may be the point - we can’t actually buy anyone until Jack is sold to fund it, so actually our negotiating position is weak.
Of course we can. It’s just the greedy bastard in charge doesn’t want to spend a penny of his own money. Self sufficient and all that. We are going nowhere under this fucker

Christ calm down people, if Ipswich are offering Prem football and a massive pay rise its going to happen, would happen at every other Championship club

It's the fee people have a problem with. £15 million plus add ons is a joke considering the fees flying about for lesser players. Weak from the club to accept it.

Good luck to the lad. A phenomenal talent and I really hope he pushes on for his next move. The fee however is hilariously bad, I can’t wait to hear how Speakshite justifies it.
