Jack Clarke

Jack Clarke I am sure is ambitious and can see that with him Sunderland have a better shot at promotion. Should the hierarchy back the manager by keeping his best players and supplementing with a couple of necessary additions then Jack Clarke might think that staying with the devil you know is the way to go. Since his arrival where initially he wasn't an automatic choice in league 1 he has progressed to be arguably the no 1 player in the Championship. He has been allowed to blossom with Sunderland where he has found his niche and I don't think it's just a coincidence that players have signed contracts hoping to follow his example where they will be given licence to express themselves playing regular Championship football this season. Some players with similar ambitions have improved their finances by moving from Sunderland but their game time hasn't increased. Jack Clarke will play in the Premier league as a first choice on a regular basis if he is good enough and I just hope he thinks Sunderland is his best chance.
Bit late

This is us in trouble

Don’t beat about the bush

Bordering on disaster this cos we can’t replace him

Be happy with 16th in the championship and thank our zero ambition owners for this disgrace

Sunderland AFC happy to be amongst your milwalls and your Bristol City’s as average mid-table, if you’re lucky, teams

A disgrace
Yet half the fans will be content

20 mill inc add ons, at least 5 mill short, poor from the club imo and yet again they are inviting pressure when there doesn’t need to be any.

Massive pressure on re-investment now

I would have felt more comfortable at 25m plus add ons. Feels like we've negotiated poorly compared to the other clubs selling to Ipswich. Let's hope they spent some money wisely rather than on the shite they've bought recently.

Bloody hell

Ipswich will be back down next season. This should have been a 25 plus million sale. Why are we giving away our best player to PL relegation fodder? Surely an established Pl club would have been a better option.
