Might be just people jumping onboard on twitter being seeing a few people saying this now. Some from our side as well (not sure if they get on here)

The other thing is there's a reason he's still here despite Ipswich (a club with the financial power to actually get a deal done, unlike Leeds) having supposed interest. Other clubs are aware of the situation, it's no secret. Spurs having that sizeable sell on and the length of contract means there is little value to Sunderland to sell unless for a silly price. Ipswich aren't putting offers in because they know they could probably get a much better deal out of us next summer should he have not signed a new deal, sunderland get promoted or both.
