Be a right kick in the nackers if he signs for someone in our league after we believe he was about to sign a new contract. If he wants the move we have to take Leeds to the cleaners the amount of money they have brought in!
 
Reality is the sell on clause from Spurs price Leeds out of any deal. We'd want more than he's really worth to let him go with so long left on his deal. Leeds simply wouldn't be able to stump up what we'd want without putting themselves under serious financial scrutiny.

Maybe Burnley, they've just sold a winger to Spurs. Cannot see him going to Leeds. Money talks no matter what league he goes to. Burnley are probably the only Championship club that would pay over 20m for him. So maybe Clarke & Ekwah out & Mendy & a striker in on loan, maybe another full back

If we were to sell him I would hope we actually reinvest the money, my biggest worry is that we won’t. I’m still wondering what happened to the Ross Stewart money 🤔
