I wonder if it would work better if agents were given their fees annually by clubs over the course of the players contract instead of it all in one lump. They would at least have an incentive for players to see out their contracts instead of trying and pimp them out every window.

fingers crossed be an absolute pisser if he leaves. However if he does then I trust that safc will extract every penny of value, must be £25M + or they (Ipswich) can do one.

'his replacement could already be here' is keep being peddled out as a positive. To me that's just replacing one of the best players in the league with one who can't even get in our team.
Accepting a fee less than acceptable and trying to peddle it as good in the media just makes it worse.
