As much as I love Clarke, maybe we'll be better off with Isidor & Simic, I just don't know. But 1 thing's for certain, we wouldn't be bringing these 2 in without selling 1 or more of our top players

Harte will get his cut and hope Jack has a quality season and then the likes of Bournemouth, Palace etc might be in for him when Ipswich get relegated.
 
The dream is we keep hold of Clarke. Get him an extended contract. Buy two decent strikers and ship out a bit of the deadwood.

The fear is we end up selling him on transfer deadline day, don’t buy any strikers and do the best with what we’ve got. Excuses being we didn’t have time to get anyone in.

Not sure on mundle. Rusyn doesn’t look up to the standard needed. Like the look of Watson coming through but you’re a couple of years away on that one.

Tbf when Walker tweets it, it’s usually come from a club source - and the way that he’s talking about it being a good deal makes it sound like it’s a very tempting offer.

Which makes it sound like these add ons are very likely to be met (to take it closer to £20m) & hopefully a sell on clause of our own.

20 mil upfront with 5 mil add-ons is tempting for me but I just don't think he goes this window

My hope is that it's Ekwah money and a little investment and we are going to make a promotion push. Either way, exciting time to be a Sunderland fan.
