Jack Clarke

playing good football, being happy and contented , getting I presume a very decent wage speaks louder than the bigger wage, the chance of staying up, and the promises of kicking on...I know which I choose.
Exactly mate. He’ll no doubt have been made a very wealthy young lad from his signing-on fee from the Tottenham move. Of course the PL wages are stratospheric compared to our league but he’s only 23 and will be back there in a year or 2, whether it’s with us or not.

Already played 2 games more for the lads then most fans expected, hope he plays a fair few more after August but he either goes for big money now or Jan or we lose 10m in value should he not sign a new contract and we fail to get promoted
If we have a good season, which is more likely with Clarke in team, the value of whole squad will go up by far more than £10m.

Must be seriously considering it if Walker is talking about it.

We must surely have a sell on clause in it too to make it reasonable.

We rejected £17m outright from Southampton earlier.
Unless no one will realistically pay anymore for him.

Let’s face it, 3 clubs have went in with 15m bids, the club won’t want this to rumble on and lose him for nothing.
His value is ever decreasing atm.

Think his agent has a massive bit to play in this, he will be whoring him all over.

We only get 11. 4 million if we accept Ipswich current offer, once spuds get their cut.
But I do think he's played his last game for us and hey ho, genuinely don't think he is prem quality and never whine when a player leaves, club always comes 1st,
Given what PL clubs shell out for players, we'd be naive in gifting Ipswich a bargain in the Clarke deal.
He's a vital player for us and (our cut of) £11 million is not enough imo.
I'd feel like we might be gambling our promotion chasing campaign this season for £11 million 🤷‍♂️

If we’ve let him go for 15mn plus 5mn that’s a poor deal for us, in fact it’s terrible.

Hopefully that 5mn is not dependent on them staying up ffs.

Left at least 5mn on the table at very best case.

Don't understand it
Ipswich will never have the ball to pass to him in that league
Hope he takes his agents 'defender' he sold to us
