Italian Football

Don’t think so. I think Empoli are traditionally thought of as Pisas rivals. Don’t know much about it. Pal is a season ticket holder at Pisa so going with him.
I’m told Livorno are their ‘proper’ rivals, Pisa also
Hate Fiorentina but everybody local hates Pisa as they used to all be arseholes. 🤷‍♀️

Just back to my digs. What a box ticked that was. Stadium is just so immense. Don’t care if it’s old, it blows any new stadium away. Atmosphere was incredible from Start to finish.

Plenty left early mind ;)

Was class like, glad we got to experience it. Absolute rave inside haha. We had to leave early like had to catch our train back to Verona.

Heading to Roma Lazio in a month or so, should be lively. Anyone done a game over there?
Yes but about 2 years ago, Milan v Messina, it was really good, I remember Kaka scoring a belter for Milan. Best bit of advice from a fan we were talking to was "When in England, when you see the police at football you know they are generally going to try and stop any trouble. When you see them in Italy, they are generally the ones to start the trouble, so move away from them asap." He wasn't wrong!

used to live in Bergamo in 1993 and went to every Atalanta home game that season.
When it was proper terraces and general carnage.
People used to come with a bag of bolts to hoy at the ref and opposition players.
Because they could go through the netting behind the goals

I've just come back from a couple of days in Bergamo, such a nice place, bet it was amazing living there!? Wouldn't mind going back there for a game at some point, was looking down on the ground from Cita Alta, it looked good although pics of the ground before it got done up look even better, proper old school Italian ground! Although hopefully it's a bolt free zone these days 😄
