This is going to turn ugly for us isn't it? This player revolt is gonna see loads of our fans turn on the players in defence of him. The love in for him is astonishing.

Looks that way. Can't see him learning his lesson and keeping his mouth shut so he'll take pops at certain players and I'd expect a few to have a pop back.

I wonder if Ellis had him on a tight lead (contractually) due to his lack of experience and poor pr skills. Knowing Di Canios ego, he'd have took the bait on a prove yourself contract. I still a serious breach by Di Canio has brought this to a head.

I think he was on a 2.5 year contract but not certain. It'll be interesting to see what the pay-off situation is. If all the senior players have revolted I'd lose respect for him if he asked for his contract to be paid up. Any employment lawyers on here?

If the players have been treated badly by him and club did nothing about the press would be calling us the fascist club. That could have damaged the club for years.

Yes because it essential evolves around "Players were particularly upset to have their effort, professionalism and commitment questioned by their manager.

Think we have all seen them roll over and die in games this season.

They got no f***ing guts like. Yes, PDC has been too outspoken but fuck me they need to grow a set of balls.

Get f***ing MON back and get them all on the piss again eh?

Aye they were all out on the piss weren't they.

We're they fuck

Blokes a tit, he signed 14 new players

They got him sacked

But you are still blaming the few that remain

You think Gardner and Larsson go out on the piss? Has Vaughan been getting mortal? Has o Shea been out boozing

Have they fuck your moronic twat

fuck off you grade A Twat

f***ing well said, the players have a problem with someone trying to make the lazy overpaid ***** work for their money?

He didnt sign any of the players you dopey bastard

Grow up man, he had a say

He wanted sess gone

The point us some morons on here are trying to blame the British players for him going

It's the 14 players we signed, that's why he is sacked

The whole no ketchup/no ice in your drink/no coffee/not many days off/slagging the players off in public will have annoyed them and there was always a threat of something like this happening. As much as they deserved it doing it in public isn't the way. Its all good in theory and he talked a good game, I just think its all too regimental for the Premier League Footballer, rightly or wrongly.

He was in charge of buying the players? I think you need to figure out what was actually going on down there

You ate missing the point

The op is trying to say the old guard players got him sacked, the lazy ones who like drinking?

Who the fuck are these meant to be?

Whether Di Canio signed them or not the reason it didn't work was the new 14 players

People will find anyway to blame the likes of o Shea and Gardner for this

Di Canio HAD to go, he's a loose cannon, we are a great club and we are better off without him

the daftest thing about this all will be the pundits and press who lined up to have us down as dead certs for relegation and to have a pop at Paulo.....will now be lining up to slag the club off for sacking the manager

We all the love the idea of pampered millionaires being put in their place. But ultimately it is the manager's job to manage - to get the best results from the players as a collective whole. If his management style resulted in a huge bustup then he failed miserably.

iv,e got a shit job with shit pay,
yet i still do the job i,m payed to do........players have to take a big part of the blame.ffs if weall refused to work for our managers, cos we didnt like them,we would all be on the dole.
But they wouldn't. Because there will be other clubs who want them.

That's the difference and complaining about that is irrelevant. All players are the same these days.

I'm all for discipline , but you have to have some yourself as a manager. Di Canio was sent off , gobbed off in the press, loved players one minute, hated them the next. He is not a man with discipline. He seems to know his football but as a personality is all over the f***ing shop. You have to keep people on board and earn respect by doing what is balanced and fair. The lifestyle of most players pisses me off, but he went about changing it too publicly. Howe or Solskjaer for me like.
