As much as I think Edwards is a joke of a journalist, he's very good mates with Titus, who we know was a fellow member of the 'Bombscare Squad' alongside Cattermole, so he probably would have had one of the two (let's not forget Cattermole allegedly has form for leaking stuff to the press) confirm it for him.

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. He won't have taken kindly to his mates being pulled up and not getting away with his antics anymore.

And yet those same supposedly lazy players stuck at their task, scored 4 and won the game. You cannot have it both ways. Did they win the game or was it a PDC masterstroke from the touchline?
 
Is it confirmed that Cattermole is off on loan?...Maybe the fact that he led the charge against DiCanio may have convinced Short that he had to go to.
Having activist players can be a problems sometime.

Actually I'd like to see them play skilful, imaginative football, with maybe a little bit of flair thrown in, rather than the 100% workrate, carthorse style everybody seems to want.

For all the ones who think PDC's style of making them earn their money is the right way to go, let's just see which successful football club, anywhere, that expects to be in the running for honours, will employ him now, knowing what his style is.

Good grief.

He's no Wayne Rooney.

Maybe if Cattermole spent less time in the treatment room or being suspended he might have been of some value to this club.

Instead he comes back for 20 minutes and leads a revolt and the owner bases his decision on him.

If that is the case we really are fucked for a long time to come.
