It's all coming out now alright and not quite going the OP anticipated

Yes it is all coming out the players revolted as I said. I know that there are players who really enjoyed PDC regime and how he set it up but suppose the article by like Edwards and other media sources are not speculating massively to suit certain agendas. Fact is both parties are to blame. PDC to harsh but the players for really not delivering and spitting their dummy out. Said that throughout this threat.[DOUBLEPOST=1380003027][/DOUBLEPOST]People go realise the exact same thing happened with MON. All players were licking arse and as soon as he went established writers stuck the knife in. Even journos side with whoever is at the club at the time. They don't want any bridges getting burned.

I would agree that no-one comes out well if someone can answer this question that I've asked a few times: what exactly did Di Canio do that was over-bearing, was always criticising them in public and treated them like children?

I have a feeling that when people lay some of these examples out they can be explained away with comparisons to other successful managers.

But people have mentioned some of it and as with my Ferguson quotes you more or less ignored them.

Well off the top of my head last season there was obviously the warranted Bardsley incident, with also comments towards the squad as a whole and jibes aimed at one or two like Wickham and then there was comments towards other things, but I wouldn't really count that as being too relevant.

This season there has been stinging criticism of O'Shea and Ji after the Palace game, then stinging criticism of the squad on at least a few occasions, that's just off the top of my head and in five (yes FIVE) games this season. None of the succesful managers you speak of would be stupid enough to come out and criticise their players publically with such frequency, especially when they'd named one of them as their captain and absolutely went to town on him because he made one error in a game. Slating publically only works as a shock tactic on occasions, not as an almost weekly occurance.

Ex Swindon chairman speaking a boat load of sense on TalkSport.

Wenger and Fergie would've struggled to overhaul a team, then face that run of fixtures with much success. whereas our bottom half rivals are masking bigger problems for later due to their easier opening fixtures.

The run of fixtures being Fulham, Southampton, Crystal Palace, Arsenal and West Bromwich Albion?
