Deepest sympathies Andrew.
I take this as as being an unofficial smb 'book of condolances'.
May he rest in peace.

RIP

This tragic event has not gone unnoticed by Crystal Palace supporters.

On behalf of all Palace fans I would like to offer our condolances and best wishes for this most difficult time to Andrew and his family.

On a personal level and speaking as someone who knows how it feels to lose a parent, I would put any idea of football or 'rivalry' far, far away and simply say 'may God be with you, friend'.

A Crystal Palace fan.

A thing like this puts promotion/relegation/cup finals etc etc in perspective
