You’d understand turning down £30 million for Trai Hume?I think he’s good and might be better next season, but you’d have to trust the recruitment team’s ability to find someone as good or better for that price. However if we turned it down I could understand that too.
Gets way too much stick for me. Hes had THE best development of any player in our squad for me. Hes a good premier league right back with room to improve. Back the lads.
This.If we got a £30m bid for him we'd be absolutely mental to turn it down
30 mil man![]()
Can we all have an honest discussion and question why he’s in ahead of Gerty?
Nie sure about that mind, he's probably been better but far better? No chanceCos he’s been a far better player for us this season. Really not a hard question to answer
He's a reasonable premier league fullback, no more, no less. A modern day Phil Bardsley perhaps, except in todays game you don't get away with being that yard slower or needing that extra touch on the ball.
£30m would be a no brainer.
Clarke and Watson were centre halves .Dave Watson started as CF .Bob Stokoe saw him more as a defender .Then helped him become brilliant defender including English caps .If Hume is worth 30m then how much are Nordi or Omar worth, because he is not ( nowhere near ) the same class as either.
He puts in the effort but seriously how he has started defensively ( in the back 4 or MF) ahead of Gerty dumbfounds me
I suppose his being British adds a premium to his value but technically he isn’t a patch on either Clarke or Watson
I’d be stunned if he worth even 15m
YupIf we got a £30m bid for him we'd be absolutely mental to turn it down
Name one of our lads from league one with a better level of development please.
