Is Trai Hume good enough for the Prem?

I think he’s good and might be better next season, but you’d have to trust the recruitment team’s ability to find someone as good or better for that price. However if we turned it down I could understand that too.
You’d understand turning down £30 million for Trai Hume?

I’ve just crashed a taxi, trying to get to him first and win the fare.

I like Hume but as others have said, $30m is a lot of money. I'd be surprised if we got offered that and even more surprised if we turned it down.

If Hume is worth 30m then how much are Nordi or Omar worth, because he is not ( nowhere near ) the same class as either.
He puts in the effort but seriously how he has started defensively ( in the back 4 or MF) ahead of Gerty dumbfounds me
I suppose his being British adds a premium to his value but technically he isn’t a patch on either Clarke or Watson
I’d be stunned if he worth even 15m

He's a reasonable premier league fullback, no more, no less. A modern day Phil Bardsley perhaps, except in todays game you don't get away with being that yard slower or needing that extra touch on the ball.

£30m would be a no brainer.

I don’t think 30 million for Hume is unrealistic given he has been a regular over pretty much the whole season in the top league and is never injured. He captains Northern Ireland and he is versatile. He seems to just get on with it and overall balance he has far more better games than poor ones while coming up against talented wingers every week. I think a lot on here undervalue the lad.

I dont think he does need that extra touch on the ball.

In fact the only thing I think hes lacking is reading how to time a header towards the back post.

Clarke and Watson were centre halves .Dave Watson started as CF .Bob Stokoe saw him more as a defender .Then helped him become brilliant defender including English caps .

He's a good player. 30m isn't a huge amount these days.

I'd rather keep him and concentrate on other areas. I think because we paid peanuts for him in League One and hasn't got a fancy foreign name, he's not rated by many, but he's a good player, is always available, and has the right attitude.

At this rate, fans have half the team sold.
