Think it’s more our head of recruitment has a good relationship with them from when he was at Blackburn so we seem to be getting in there first with them
 

Eh?! Why are people on here expressing happiness about being linked to Man City? That might be great whilst we’re in league 1 - access to promising young players etc - but this isn’t the norm for fucks sake. We should be competing against city in the premier league as their rivals man. Why would we want any links to them?!

The Patrick transfer triggered me but the thoughts been in my head ever since I heard ADQ investment in the Louis Dreyfus company months ago.

It’s interesting how closely we are working with Man City at the moment.

No it wouldn’t!

If an SAFC fan had been slagging off Newcastle fans for embracing their owners, then reacted to the news that SAFC had links with the Saudis by deciding that it’s now OK to be owned by murderers, then that would make that fan a hypocrite.

Revelations alone that we could have links with the Saudis does not make ‘us’ hypocrites.
