Is County Durham more red n white or black n white?

Use to be a bus on from Darlo to Sunderland home games (not sure if still running).

Way way more mag allegiance there though than there is for either Sunderland or Boro.

Never seen that like. Yarm Thirsk Northallerton is plastic Leeds territory.

Also Darlington is not majority Mag its even between the four clubs. More who only follow Darlo than you'd think.
This is true loads of my mates only follow Darlo and if they have a 2nd team usually man Utd Liverpool etc

Darlo is more 'big mouth' Mags. The Sunderland are plentiful but keep themselves to themselves. Either way the town is dominated by Man Utd & Liverpool fans.
Should see my Facebook (I know) today full of them giving it the big one when none of them ever go to games

Who gives a fuck

Im R&W through and through

Couldn't give a toss if 99% are B&W *****

Another provocative post

But at least people respond and it provokes debate

No chance

You reckon?

You're from Shildon aren't you ? If so I'd agree South Durham has always been a stronghold for mags. When I was a school 90/10 in Mags favour but 50/50 those who actually went to games

Aye, but mind you, I grew up in the 90s, so when I - and my friends - were at the age of forming attachments to football clubs, so about 6-12 - Newcastle went through a period of nearly winning the league a couple of times, FA Cup finals, Champions League, UEFA Cups etc.

We were yo-yoing.

That might influence my view a bit. Supporting the Mags was very in vogue for people who had Middlesbrough, Darlington and Sunderland as closer teams.
