IPL franchises investing in the hundred teams

Durham don't have a team in the 16.4.
if they expand we will have one, so id imagine to an investor its more something you can put your own stamp than a pre existing franchise, and a bit of private investment in a hundred franchise im sure will benefit the county to a certain extent

I’m sure they’ll be lining up to pump their money into an entity that loses millions, attracts little to no sponsorship and draws mediocre viewing figures.

What names do we fancy then lads?

Mumbai Indians Newcastle
Sunrisers Sunderland
Chester-le-street Super Kings
Durham Daredevils

The possibilities are endless. Can’t wait me

I thought it was worth a lot more than £1 billion according to the ECB last year.

I'm at the point now where I'm starting to not care. This lot will be hell bent on removing red ball traditional cricket and turning it into a "whack slog festival" which is entirely up to them but I'll not be around to watch it. Each to their own I guess but as I've said constantly for years on here......... "ECB Clowns".
