IPL 2024 🇮🇳

Punjab might be the team to follow this year from an England perspective. A big match winning partnership between Livingstone and Curran yesterday with Bairstow also opening. Feel like it's a big tournament for Curran, needs to find some form before the world cup

There's been some canny crowds already
A few need to be playing and finding form, only 3 months to go

One boundary as around 57 metres and some buffet bowling length to set batsmans. Full tosses galore and slower balls that you could see coming from last week but it’s what that want flat pitches and huge scores.

Are there any new rules?

Just one. Players are now allowed to bowl two bouncers per over, instead of one

The sides will continue to name their teams after the toss, including five substitutes. The 'impact player' rule, which allows one of those subs to be used, has been kept. The player coming in must be Indian, unless the team has not used their four overseas players

Wide and no-ball calls can still be reviewed
