He is a top top one day player no doubt about it. Just goes into the same bracket as Roy and Morgan as one day specialists, there is nothing wrong with that these days when the test game and one day stuff are a million miles apart. It takes the real quality players to be able to do it in all 3 formats now.

He is better than both of them like.

Maybe, but I can barely think of more than a handful of players who are good enough to do that.

Yes the people who can do all 3 formats to a very good standard are fanastic.

The true sign of a quality cricketer imo, been able to adapt your game to each format
 
Max well very lucky to have an IPL deal

as is Steve smith and a few others I can think of

10th best ODI batsman in the world, 19th best T20I. That's not at all shabby but you need to calm down with the hyperbole.Remember Malan is rated top T20I batsman in the world and Hales previously held this.

Nah, its not hyperbole at all, another one not willing to give him credit for some reason.

No opener in the history of ODI cricket has a higher batting average AND a higher SR than Jonny Bairstow (min. 10 inns) He also has the highest IPL average of anyone in the tournament's history (min. 10 inns)
 
How harsh was that for Maxwell? Literally millimetres inside the rope. TBF Punjab were cruising and should have won that match.

Sam Curran hammered for 48 and out for a first ball duck.
